Objectives | Overall objectives Integrate the concepts of Basic Sciences and Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine in the imaging of Epilepsy. Specific objectives 1. Describe the mechanism of epileptogenesis. 2. Classify type of radiopharmaceuticals according to zones of cortical involvement. 3. Explain the reason for selecting particular radiopharmaceutical for each epilepsy condition. 4. Apply good techniques for best imaging outputs. 5. Compare performance of each imaging modalities. 6. Apply knowledge to correctly interpret the findings for each Nuclear Medicine techniques. 7. Assess each referred case situation to suggest Nuclear Medicine imaging modality. |
