Objectives | 1. Overall objectives Interpret and make a differential diagnosis using Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging in dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB), frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and vascular cognitive impairment (VCI). 2. Specific objectives Explain the PET biomarker to enhance diagnostic accuracy List the Nuclear imaging biomarker for the diagnosis of DLB Describe the pattern of FDG PET and amyloid PET in DLB Explain the role of DAT scan in DLB Classify three clinical subtypes of FTD using FDG PET Differential diagnosis of FTD from other neurodegenerative disorders Explain the role of amyloid PET in VCI |
