Objectives | Overall objectives Integrate the concepts of Basic Sciences and Diagnostic Nuclear Medicine in the imaging of Alzheimer’s disease (AD) and its variants. Specific objectives Describe the pathology of Alzheimer’s disease (AD). Classify type and mechanism of radiopharmaceuticals used in AD. Apply good techniques for best imaging outputs. Compare performance of each imaging modalities. Apply knowledge to correctly interpret the findings for each Nuclear Medicine techniques. Assess each referred case situation to suggest Nuclear Medicine imaging modality. |
