Understand and utilize the unique values of nuclear imaging in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular inflammatory diseases

Specific objectives
Describe the patient preparation and imaging protocols of F-18 FDG PET for the diagnosis of cardiovascular inflammatory diseases
Describe the differences between late gadolinium enhancement imaging on cardiac MRI and intense uptake on F-18 FDG PET in the evaluation of myocardial inflammation
Explain the importance of active inflammation assessment in the management of constrictive pericarditis
Explain the roles of F-18 FDG PET in the diagnosis and management of vasculitis
